Facilitative Leadership

What does it mean to be a Facilitative Leader? How can one bring out the best in others through a collaborative leadership style? Different forms of participatory decision-making, problem solving and action planning are explored. Adapted to group, depending on content.

Finding our Leaders

Different styles of leadership are explored. Participants identify their own strengths as leaders and discuss ways they maintain balance in their leadership roles. Recognizing others' leadership styles is emphasized as a tool for recruiting others to be involved. Usually 1 ½ hours.

Facilitation Skills

Facilitation is demonstrated as a skill distinct from other forms of communication. Participants experience the role of a facilitator in group discussion, facilitating meetings or leading workshops. Can be 1 - 2 hours depending on size of group.
